Finished Restoration of the Consola Table.

Hello,
The restoration of the consola table is finished. Tomorrow is Saturday and I will return it to Uno Langmann Fine Arts.
This piece had been previously restored. I knew this because I could see traces of glue and some  joints were not well connected. The previous restoration was not very good.
The carved wooden leaves were broken and had lost  many of the flowers towards the bottom of the carvings.
The owner did not want a full restoration, to make the pievce look new. They asked me to retain the patina and where the finish had worn through to the wood, in certain places on the piece, they wanted this left to indicate age. In the final pictures you can see this.
I cleaned the gold leaf and I also protected the surface finish with a thin varnish.
