Hello,
Today I went to downtown Vancouver with my teacher Theresa and some classmates to visit the open house of CBC Radio-Canada. December 2th is the annual CBC Bristish Columbia Food Bank drive. We met some reporters and some radio hosts, we visited the Weather Desk and the TV control room ( the central area of activity). I was suprised to know that B.C. has the worst child poverty rate in Canada, 37% of food bank clients in B.C. right now are childen and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank offers food to 25.000 clients each week. Thank you to all those that enable food bank. |
